Our Forest Poetry class will teach your children the power of expressing themselves through words and sounds while making new friends and playing in nature.
Each session will meet at Bramhall Terrace at the South Mountain Reservation and will include:
A short hike observing nature and sounds
Snack time
Poetry fun and games
Playtime

Marcia LeBeau
Poet and teaching artist
Marcia LeBeau is a poet, literary entrepreneur, and teaching artist who has taught poetry for NJPAC Arts Ed, Maplewood Outside School, the Progressive Center for Independent Living, and school districts across the country.
She holds an MFA in poetry from VCFA and is the founder of The Write Space, a co-working space for creative writers in the Valley Arts District of Orange, NJ.
Her debut poetry collection, A Curious Hunger, will be published by Broadstone Books in 2024. She lives with her husband and two children in South Orange.
